Year End Roundup - The Finished Quilts of 2025

Year End Roundup - The Finished Quilts of 2025

This post is always a little overwhelming. While I always enjoy making quilts throughout the year, sometimes I look back on all of the projects and wonder if I have lost my mind! Looking back at these has reminded me that I need to get back to Quilt Roulette, so expect to see at least a few more of those projects pop up in 2026.

Even though it feels like a lot when everything is listed out in one place, this kind of roundup is one of my favorite ways to reflect on the year. Each quilt represents a different season, mood, or experiment — new patterns, old favorites, fabric pulls that worked beautifully, and a few that taught me important lessons.

So here it is: a look back at all of the quilts I finished in 2026. While I'm sure it would be reflective to write a few sentences about each project, I would rather be sewing! If you want to learn more about any of these quilts, click the link and read the original blog post.

A Few Things I Noticed This Year

Looking back at this list, a few patterns (pun intended) really stand out. I leaned heavily on familiar construction methods, mixed in more scraps, and gravitated toward calm, repeatable designs. I am definitely a big fan of a scrap quilt so expect to see lots more of that in the future.

Looking Ahead

Finishing this many quilts in one year is equal parts satisfying and humbling. I’m heading into the next year hoping to keep the pace joyful rather than frantic, make room for more playful projects like Quilt Roulette, and continue balancing new ideas with old favorites.

If you have a favorite from this list or made one of these quilts yourself, I’d love to hear about it. Thanks for quilting along with me this year!

Natalie pattern is my favourite – all colour versions – and of course plaidish.
Thank you for another year of inspiration,

My favorite quilts from your 2025 quilts are: Piper in Strawberry, Scrappy Remy, Economy I-Spy, Plaidish’s in Geometry and Lucky Loom. All these are very scrappy- no surprise- since I love scrappy.

Such an impressive journal of GORGEOUS work! Your Scrappy Remy Quilt is my very favorite! A Plaidish Quilt and Carly Quilt are on my list for 2026. Thank you for all the inspiration❤️

I’m in the midst of family care taking and there has been hardly any sewing this past year. Being able to live vicariously through your projects has helped scratch that itch (and also make me long for time to create with a couple of the patterns). I love that you’re thinking about using both stash and scraps in 2026. Finally, congrats on your tutorial collaborations with MSQC, I also hope there are more in your future. Wishing you and your family (even Grumpy Tom) a wonderful 2026.

I made a piper quilt this year and it’s one of my favorite finishes! I wish I could post a photo here. I tagged you on IG. Maybe you saw it.

Your quilts are lovely, and your output is astonishing. What does your daily timetable look like?

They are all beautiful, but I am particularly drawn to the mini-Pladish quilts and the Charlotte in Poppy Seed

I love all the quilts as shown — they are simple but yet beautiful; something that even a beginner can accomplish.
