The Iris Quilt Pattern Size Extension — Queen and King Sizes

The Iris Quilt Pattern Size Extension — Queen and King Sizes

Do you want to know what the most frequent question has been in my inbox for the past couple of years? If I have queen or king size instructions for the Iris Quilt.

For a long time I didn't intend to add the larger size options for the pattern. For some patterns, adding sizing just means adding more blocks and figuring out fabric requirements for the additional materials, but for a pattern like Iris it is quite a bit more complicated. But you guys kept asking! The size extension is now available in the shop.

This pattern is an addendum to the original quilt pattern, which means that you need both the original pattern AND the extension to make the queen and king sizes. The new extension has the information for fabric requirements, cutting instructions, and quilt diagrams for the new sizing but the instructions for constructing the quilt top are only in the original pattern.

Just like the original, these sizes can be made with fat quarters, jelly roll strips, or scraps. The pattern is available only as a PDF and will not be available in a printed version.

You can pick up the new sizes and the original pattern in my shop!
