The Fiona Quilt is the Pattern of the Week
This week's Pattern of the Week is the Fiona Quilt! I've been having fun revisiting some of my older patterns, and this week I thought it would be a good time to give Fiona a little attention.
One of my favorite things about revisiting older patterns is seeing them with fresh eyes. Sometimes all it takes is a different fabric collection or color palette to make a quilt feel completely new, and I love seeing all of the different directions you can take a pattern.
If you haven't checked out the Pattern Guides I've been adding to my website, make sure to take a look! The Fiona Quilt Pattern Guide has the pattern details, fabric requirements, coloring pages, mockups, and blog posts. I love being able to see everything in one place, especially when I'm trying to decide which fabrics to use for a new project.
The Fiona Quilt is a beginner-friendly pattern that uses simple squares, but there is still plenty of room to play with color and fabric placement. By arranging fabrics with different values, you can create movement throughout the quilt without any complicated piecing. It is also a great option for using scraps, and I especially love the idea of making a scrappy rainbow version!
