New Tutorial - Valued Scrap Quilt

New Tutorial - Valued Scrap Quilt

I have a new tutorial for you today - this is the Valued Scrap Quilt! If you are thinking that maybe you have seen this quilt before . . . technically this tutorial isn't new since it has been available in my Instagram stories for a while. But it is a new PDF tutorial.

A Valued Scrap Quilt - Kitchen Table Quilting

This quilt is THE BEST for using up scraps. It is perfect for leftover binding pieces, jelly roll strips, or for cutting down pieces of yardage or fat quarters. It uses fabric of all values from the very lightest to the very darkest and everything in between. It works with what you have, whatever you have.

It is also just a fun exercise in working with different fabric values. The quilt is a little more forgiving than the #plaidishquilt and, since it uses smaller pieces, is better at using what you have in your scrap bin.

I have now made this quilt twice - once with the dark value in the the middle and one with the light value in the middle (read more about the previous quilt here). It works either way.

You can download the pattern (it's free) in my shop. Of course while you are there, feel free to browse around the PDF and paper patterns too.
