Even-Steven Quilt
PDF and paper pattern for this quilt are now available in my shop.
I have been waiting to make this quilt for a while and I finally got the right fabrics together to make it happen.
It is a super simple quilt to put together and (once I have it tested by pattern testers) will be my
second pattern that is meant especially for beginners or for anyone who is looking for a quick, easy project.

It is a super simple quilt to put together and (once I have it tested by pattern testers) will be my
second pattern that is meant especially for beginners or for anyone who is looking for a quick, easy project.
I started with the fabrics from the March Culcita Box and then added some other Cotton + Steel prints (and one solid) from my stash. My goal was to use colors that were really happy and fun.
For the backing, I used another Cotton + Steel print. I used a purple solid for the binding - originally I was going to use pink, but I kept seeing the word "Grape" on the backing fabric and I felt like the quilt was telling me it wanted purple.
I hand stitched the binding with my normal big stitch method (tutorial here).
The pattern should be ready within the next month. In the meantime, you can find my other patterns in my brand new shop. I am also working on making more of my PDF patterns available in print versions. There are currently two and more will be added as I get them formatted and printed.
I had a helper helping me take these photos - can you tell how helpful he was? ;)
